DHH/ASL Dragonboat Paddling Day

Want to try paddling in a dragon boat? The ASL dragon boat session is a go! This is an one-day event presented in ASL primarily for DHH and other ASL users.
Dragon Boat BC will start by making sure that the waivers are signed and be there for safety talks. And then, you will meet in the boat around 3pm ideally.

Meeting location: Just outside the north entrance of the Creekside Community Centre (a few minutes away from Main street Skytrain Station)
This event will happen rain or shine. Dress for the weather and be prepared to get a bit wet. It is suggested not wearing cotton shirts as it gets heavy and cold easily. For those who are not fluent in ASL, Dragon Boat BC is securing volunteer interpreters.
For those with mobility issues, there is a wheelchair friendly ramp and you can store your mobility aids inside a shed. It is recommended to bring a lock just in case.
